The weather is gorgeous today. The kids are out of school. I just paid payroll. I have a really busy week, and it is supposed to rain. Radwood Sonoma is Saturday. It would seem critical to leave work early and wash the Sunchaser.
Tags and title came for the Alltrack today. The X1/9 is being inspected. The suspense is killing me. The guy selling it had a nice 4 door Impala for sale as well. $11,500.

I really like this seller.

So hoping you can get the little FIAT! :D

Buy both. You can store the Fiat in the trunk of the Impala.

Hum - I like that Impala a lot. NP if it runs well and that driver’s seat cover isn’t hiding anything.

I like your bad ideas! :D More Italian cars and land boats!

Is the Fiat for your son to replace the Subaru, or for you?

T hat Imp is a fekkin beast. I bet a 396 and T56 would fit nicely under that sheet metal.

Four-door 60s barges with moderately sized V8s are the business.

That Imp is a looker. I am excited about the prospects of the Fiat.
I am also super excited for this weekend!

If it was two years older you’d have to buy the Impala.

A 1966 Impala convertible that my grandfather used to own was among the cars I learned to drive in. It was slow enough that there was no chance of getting into trouble (283 with a powerglide) with brakes terrible enough to force me to pay attention.

Well the factory offered the 396 and 427 in that car so hel l yea.
The 327 is a nice engine in its own right though.

I’d buy the impala and live out my supernatural fantasy, I know theirs is a 2 door but that’s close enough

Who is the seller?

I saw the X1-9 last week on bring a trailer. The graphics along the silohwette stood out to me. I grew up around these, and currently have 2 in my garage.

No clue. I like his inventory.
You should call him.

Does he have a good inventory of Priuses and other green cars?

Is a Fiat X1/9 “green”?
![]() 03/05/2019 at 10:17 |
|
Only in two possible ways... the Fiat’s biodegradability (rust) and/
or
if you paint it green.

But i t’s almost always greener to keep driving an old one than to build a brand new one, right?
![]() 03/05/2019 at 13:22 |

Sure... greener than building a brand new Fiat x1/9 from scratch...
